Dr. Nadim Chakass earned his Medical Doctor degree at Hassan II University in Casablanca, Morocco in 2000. He obtained his Diploma of Specialization in Vascular Surgery from Lille, France in 2006. During that period, he obtained many Diplomas in Vascular & Endovascular Surgery from Paris & Reims Universities. Dr. Chakass returned to Lebanon in 2007 to practice Vascular & Endovascular Surgery in Tripoli’s hospitals. He has successfully conducted more than 6000 Vascular & Endovascular operations during his 15-year career. Currently he is the Head of the Vascular Surgery Unit at Monla Hospital, Tripoli – Lebanon. He is a member of the Lebanese Society of Vascular Surgery (LSVS), the European Society of Vascular Surgery (ESVS) and French Society of Phlebology. He has been an active member of the Order of Physicians Tripoli-Lebanon since 2001 as well. Dr. Chakass has been a Professor at the Lebanese University, Faculty of Public Health, Tripoli-Lebanon since 2008. In 2018, he obtained an Executive Masters of Healthcare Management (EMHM) from the ESA business school Beirut – Lebanon & EHESP Rennes University – France. Special Interests: • Management and Treatments of Arterial Pathologies (Medical, Endovascular or Surgical treatment of Carotids, Arteries of Superior and Inferior limbs, Abdominal aorta, and Visceral Arteries) • Vascular Access for Hemodialysis (A-V fistula) • Management and Treatments of Chronic Venous Diseases “Varicose Veins” (Medical, Sclerosis, Endovenous ablation and Surgical) • Management and Treatment of Deep Vein Thrombosis and their Complications • Management and Treatment of Diabetic Foot • Vascular Doppler Ultrasound Scan "Echo-Doppler" (Sonographing & Reporting)
